Calling all Koalas! My name's Kim and I want you to join me at Jonah's. It's a fun and colorful place I think you'll really like. (Studies show that's important for you.) You'll have lots to look at and experience, like different textures, colors and shapes. Don't worry, your mom or dad can come with you. They'll be part of co-movement activities and play. With the help of the teachers, they'll make sure you meet the goals for your age. What, did you think that being a baby is easy? We do get to rock out to music, so it's a good time and pretty stimulating actually. That's how we roll. No really, we roll. And have "tummy time," so our neck and back muscles get nice and strong for all the climbing we'll do later. Did I mention parachute play? It's super-cool.
Register Now!Yo! Georgie in the house -- the Treehouse, that is – and I'm here to tell you what it takes to be a giraffe. In fact, I'm gonna stick my neck out here and say that you've gotta be a little more mature than those koalas. Why? Because each class is an adventure. Not exactly an African safari, but close! You'll explore tunnels, conquer bridges and zip down slides at high speeds. Well, pretty fast anyway. Point is, you'll be strengthening your body and developing your sense of space, depth and balance. Everything short of eating acacia leaves, I'd say. Try it…you'll like it!
Register Now!Hello. My name is Zoey, which comes from the Greek meaning "life." And my class has a lot of it. Here, toddlers are introduced to more structured activities. (It's important to have distinct patterns, I always say.) Parents help young zebras, and the teacher leads and encourages all. There are "movement stations," each specifically designed to further dynamic and static balance, spatial awareness and muscular development. Mastering motor milestones and increasing strength and agility are of utmost importance for kids at your age. After all, everyone has to earn their stripes.
Register Now!Ernest here. And yes I am (albeit with different spelling). You just have to be in my class. Look, the terrible 2s aren't as bad as people say. They can be outstanding! Especially given that we elephants have a lot of fun in our class at Jonah's. Now, if I can just remember what we do there. Oh yes, this class is designed to help you gain your independence. You'll begin to rely less on mommy or daddy, and the teacher will coach you more. You'll work on your balance, spatial awareness and muscular development. And now that you're older, you'll have more advanced activities that focus on cooperation with others in your class. So don't forget to come to class. I never do. See you there!
Register Now!Hey kids! I'm Louie – hear me roar! I don't mean to brag, but I'm king of the jungle. So I'm pretty tough…but of course quite lovable. Being the best takes hard work. And hard play. Like the kind in my lion classes. Oh, I don't teach them. I leave that to our dynamic teacher who has much more experience in this stuff than I have. (And a lot less hair, now that I think about it.) Anyway, the activities in this class will get your motor skills motoring and improve your social skills, too. We are, after all, the world's most social felines. There's a mix of games and free-range play. You'll have a total blast, and if you were looking for more courage, you'll get that, too.
This class includes: advanced movement classes; social skills and cooperation games; music and song; arts & crafts; story time and play-acting. I'm not lion!
Children attend class once a week, from 1:30-4pm.
This is a drop-off program (sorry, parents).
Children must be fully potty-trained to participate.
